Baby, Give Me One More Night: Maroon 5 Concert Review
Written and Photographed By: Amanda Penna
Maroon 5 came right onto the stage and started rocking out. No opening musician whatsoever. They introduced themselves with older singles like “She will be loved” “Misery” and “This Love.” Lead singer Adam Levine connected to the audience, used curse words while speaking to the crowd, and even towards the end took off his shirt. Adam Levine had such a stage presence that made you feel like being overexposed, and the engagement at the concert just added to the excitement. Maroon 5 was probably one of the shortest concerts ever; lasting about an hour and a half, but still was very fulfilling because they preformed their best songs. It was a smart mix of new and old which kept the audience singing and dancing the whole time. The stage was spectacular. Perfect beams of different colors radiated the band and the stage. Different lights for each song really helped set the mood for the audience. There was also a huge disco ball right above the band, which made the whole concert feel like a party. Adam sang great, his band played beautifully, and the whole atmosphere of the Maroon 5 concert was spectacular. Before I attended this concert, Maroon 5 was just one of the bands I listened to, now they are my favorite. I appreciate their music so much more and their ability to still keep producing amazing music after 12 years is outstanding. If anyone has a chance to go see them, they defiantly should. They rocked, literally. |
