New Year, New Me?By: Katie PeterkaAnd the time of year has come to make New Year’s resolutions. Excitement builds up inside as we prepare ourselves for the New Year, cleansing our bodies of the old to be the new you, the enhanced you, the better you. We pull out our Dixon Ticonderoga’s and traditional lined paper and start to compose a list, a hefty list that holds high standards; a list of things that require change, improvement or beginning. That initial excitement abates as the list grows heavily extensive and we think of the struggles needed to be endured in order to do justice to the list. That dreaded list, I know. Who keeps their resolutions anyway? Fact is, over 88% of all New Year’s resolutions fail. Resolutions rarely make it past the New Year flurry (guilty). So, why do we set them? Resolutions give us the opportunity to feel fresh and to restart, like a clean semester, which is subsequently approaching rapidly. Bring perseverance, determination and a challenging eye when you strut throughout your 2013 adventures. This is what’s needed to accomplish those handwritten resolutions. So Crest followers, what are your resolutions this 2013?
